What is Microblading?
DermaLaser’s newest service, 3D Eyebrow embroidery, (microblading) is a “permanent” makeup technique done with a tiny, angled blade made of a row of even tinier needles. The microblading blade is dipped into a selected color of pigment, and then used to make a micro stroke, in the skin. This process results in the pigment being implanted into the skin, most commonly known as micropigmentation.
Is microblading permanent?
Microblading results last between one year and three years.
Does microblading fade?
Microblading tends to gradually fade over time*, so a touch up is recommended every one to three years to keep the results looking as vibrant as possible.
*Even though color gradually gets lighter after the first year, microblading will not fade into shades of blue or pink like other permanent cosmetic procedures. DermaLaser would never do that to you!
How long does Microblading take?
DermaLaser insists on being thorough and taking the time to provide you with the most beautiful, natural looking brows possible. The average microblading appointment is usually around 2 hours.
Does eyebrow Microblading hurt?
DermaLaser’s clients say they experience minumim to no discomfort during microblading. We are unique in that we apply a topical anesthetic to ensure you have a comfortable experience.
